On Monday night earlier this week, an unnamed Frontier Airlines pilot bought 50 pizzas to feed his passengers on a flight from Washington, D.C. bound for Denver. Frontier Airlines flight 719 was scheduled to leave at 5:48pm, but didn’t leave the runway until nearly an hour later.
The flight only got worse from that point onward. As the plane approached the Denver area, they ran into a dangerous thunderstorm and the captain was forced to circle around western Nebraska until it subsided.
Eventually the plane started to run low on fuel, so it had to divert to the airport in Cheyenne, Wyoming to wait for the bad weather to dissipate. After about an hour waiting on the runway in Cheyenne, the passengers began to get agitated in the humid Airbus A320.
That’s when the captain realized that neither he nor his passengers had eaten anything in many hours.
He told the passengers: “Ladies and gentleman, Frontier Airlines is known for being one of the cheapest airlines in the US, but your captain is not cheap. I just ordered pizza for the entire plane.”
And sure enough, fifty pizzas were handed out by the cabin crew to the grateful passengers soon after.
The plane remained on the ground in Cheyenne for about two hours before finally being able to depart for Denver, where it arrived five hours late.
We are please to announce the addition of a marvelous new feature to our beloved Princeton Air Show: personal trainer courses. At all future shows, our partner personal trainers from the United Kingdom will be on the scene to teach people how to put on fitness classes and give personal training sessions to other people.
We predict this new attraction will go down well with those of our guests who are interested in health and fitness and weight loss because they’re currently too fat to become pilots as they cannot fit into most airplane cockpits. These Discovery UK personal trainer courses are highly effective for losing weight and staying in shape, yet are also simple enough that someone can learn them in a single day.
Our UK partners will also be demonstrating the teaching of Discovery Fitness gym instructor courses for the benefit of anyone in the audience who is interested in a career as a gym instructor in a health club or something.
And for the ladies in the audience, the guys from the UK will also be teaching you how to give a luxurious rub down to your husbands or partners to aid their athletic performance or just to add spice to your love life. The Discovery sports massage courses are apparently second to none in Europe.
There is a growing problem of obesity and unfitness in adults throughout North America, and we all have to do whatever we can to fight this problem in our society. These fitness courses we’re allowing to be taught at our air show are our contribution to the fight.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Sanyu Fitness personal trainer business in Wimbledon, London, for organizing this scheme and bringing us together with our UK partners.
So now you know of yet another reason to come visit us at the Princeton Air Show!
